“I truly love what I do, the clients we are lucky to serve and the great people who call this place home.”
I joined GolinHarris 16 years ago to help Fred Cook grow the Los Angeles office. At that time, I ran the marketing and brand strategy practice. It has been a great ride. We brought in lots of great clients: Amazon.com, Cold Stone Creamery, Disney, Dole Food Company, Habitat for Humanity, Kaiser Permanente, Mead Johnson Nutritionals, Nestle, Toyota, Yahoo! and Zicam, to name a few. In addition to consumer work, I had worked both in house and at Fleishman-Hilliard and MS&L, leading clients in the corporate, consumer branding, issues, employee communications, and health care areas. Since joining GH, I have primarily focused on setting communications/PR strategy for leading brands, managing clients’ issues management programs, providing senior client counsel and business development, as well as developing quality and client service initiatives, and professional staff development programs.
In 2001, Fred moved to Chicago to become president of the company, and placed the LA office in my hands. I took our San Francisco and Seattle offices under my wing in 2003 and added an Orange County office in 2004 with the acquisition of a consumer tech team previously known as the Benjamin Group. In 2007, I brought on Panache, a team of Asian-American marketing specialists in the Bay Area.
As a high school senior, I knew I wanted a career in PR. Now, 30-some years later, I am proud to say I work at GolinHarris. We do the best work I have seen in my career — a gold standard in our field. I truly love what I do, the clients we are lucky to serve and the great people who call this place home.

Nobody would believe that my iPod collection could belong to one person. It is so eclectic: from Etta James to Foo Fighters to Jonathan Mayer. As for books, it is usually the latest business book.
